On This Day…
It is very cold! -15 degrees Fahrenheit while driving into work.
Barack Obama starts another 4 years.
The banks are closed, work is quiet, it is Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
I’m thinking back over the weekend. And the roughly 30 hours of laughs I had with some very special ladies. We may all be from the same hometown, and most of us live in it, but to get away and laugh is important. I may be a little extra tired, and my feet still might be sore for the walking around the mall, jumping on the bed, and dancing at the bar. But it was all worth it.
I’m looking for a workout buddy for sometime this afternoon. Anytime between 2 and 5 would be best. (I think I’m going to need a little extra motivation in the gym)
I’m realizing more than ever that age is just a number. Some people are ready to settle down early, and some people aren’t. Or they are ready but haven’t had the chance. Worrying about the time and the place won’t get you closer to being settled. Sometimes you just have to let it happen.
Life is full of contradictions. But you just have to do what is right for you.
