I’m not one for blogging schedules. In fact the Peace Perspective from Sunday is something I’m still not 100% sure about. But I’m going to go with it. Except for it didn’t make me feel like blogging on Monday like I usually do. ANYWAYS!
I haven’t mentioned workouts in a while. Mainly because after the Irongirl Duathlon I really wasn’t training, I finished the Monster Dash half, but my endurance was not where it could have been. So looking at 2014 I knew I wanted to do some things differently. I’ve mentioned that I want to complete a triathlon and after asking around I’ve found someone to help me with the swim portion!
I know how to swim. But most of my swimming is with a few cocktails in a lake. Which while a ton of fun, won’t help me during a triathlon. Right now we’ve agree to six weeks of Thursday morning pool sessions. Meeting at 5:45, which means me waking up about 4:30 to do the 45 minute drive to pool. Uff da.
I’m not looking forward to that part, but I am looking forward to getting more comfortable. Especially because at this point I wouldn’t feel comfortable going to a pool and giving myself a workout. So I’m hoping this will be a good starting point.
Sooo. Here’s a shameless internet request for pool advice! What are some of things I need to know before going?!?
