Where I’ve Been…Run, Wine, Sick, App.

Hello Friends! Sorry for the silence the last couple days, but thank you for the feedback on my “Waiting” Peace Perspective! Here’s what’s been going on in my life via photos (that were mostly Snap Chatted).

Tough Run Katie Looking ForwardI had really good intentions of training properly for the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon! But with being sore for a week after the Run for the Lakes Half, and Going to New York, I finally ran last week. And It was Tough!

Wine Club Ambition QuoteThankfully I had wine club after my run to make me feel a bit better! It was the last wine club until the fall, but thankfully I’ve got at least one fun wine event on the schedule for this summer!

Baby Pictures Katie Looking ForwardOver the weekend I went to my Grandma’s House, the plan was to go to a dinner/movie with a friend, and then spend Sunday with my family. God had other plans and my night was cut short when I got sick. I spent all morning in bed at Grandma’s house looking at the baby pictures of myself, brother, and cousins.

Mazatlan WaterlogueI also spent some time playing with the Waterlogue App! It was the best $2.99 I’ve spent in a while, and I hope that someday my Peace Perspectives will be quotes I’ve added to my own photos!

Coffee 5 DaysDue to the sickness I haven’t had coffee (or diet coke) in 5 days. I’m assuming things will turn around soon and I’ll be back to my one cup of coffee and one can of diet coke each day. But the little break has been nice! No headaches, so I know my current levels aren’t a problem!

Any new apps I need to know about? How long does it take for you to come back from a sickness?

  1. You’re looking for apps? Are you Android, Apple, or Windows? I’m Apple and sometimes I feel like the app queen, lol (I have nearly 400 on my phone right now, and that’s AFTER deleting a bunch). My secret (okay, it’s not really a secret. I posted about it recently. But still.) is Apps Gone Free. It’s an app that tells you which premium apps are free that day. I got the Rhonna Designs app that way, among many others. (Which, if you don’t have the Rhonna Designs app, GET IT! I prefer to edit pics for my blog on Picmonkey just because I prefer using my laptop over my phone, but that app has way more overlay options than Picmonkey does.)

    • Oh my gosh girl! I don’t know how many apps I have, but its definitely not 400! I’m real lazy when it comes to editing photos…Apps Gone Free sounds awesome! I’m an iphone/mac person. I had an android phone for a while and hated it!

  2. Oh snap. I forgot to fix my name on that comment. In case you couldn’t tell by the picture or email or the website or the ramblingness of the comment, that was me! (Haha I know you know it’s me, I’m just trying to move away from posting comments with my blog name in them). Carry on…

    • Hmm, I’d love to hear your reasoning about why you’re moving away from commenting with your blog! I feel like the comments section is slowly dying. I wouldn’t be surprised in the next couple years if none of us have them!

  3. I hope you feel better soon!! I never have new apps. I just can’t get into them! I’ll download one and then never use it. I just don’t think I’m a techie person at all.

    • I’m with you! I’m really reluctant to buying apps. The one game I bought was Wheel of Fortune because my brother likes the show, and it is fun for my mom and I to play when we’re on an airplane.
