Welcome Fall! I’ve stated it a few places, but I plan on restarting the couch to 5k plan in order to bring my legs back to running and to get a better base, and hopefully faster pace. I want to start before the snow falls because…I’ll be completing the Disney Princess Half Marathon in February 2015!
I will be traveling with three friends from college and we are working on our travel arrangements. We’ve decided to fly in on Wednesday, fly out on Monday. This gives us all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday to do what we like, and Sunday is race day!
We looked at a lot of flight options, but ended up booking Sun Country as they had non-stop flights from Minneapolis to Orlando, with the best price.
Next up is deciding where to stay. We may be able to stay at the Dolphin/Swan through time share points, which would allow us to walk to Epcot!
I opted out of the Glass Slipper Challenge as I would rather enjoy the time with friends, plus, with the money saved we decided to splurge on the race retreat!
