Chance Chat #10: Scared

I’m nervous to tell you this…but I’m on another trip. I know, its not fair. Schedules happen and I would have loved to wait until late April to travel, but it didn’t work that way.Β  I’m with my family in Mazatlan, Mexico you may remember my posts from last year… Workouts and Food. Anyways, onto this week’s Chance Chat. (inspiration via Pinterest).

scares youThere are a few things I’m scared of. I tend to be very realistic which doesn’t allow for much stressing/pushing myself. I’m 100% more comfortable taking baby steps than I am with leaping off cliffs. But that’s what I like about this quote. It’s not asking me to leap, it’s asking me to TRY. And that I am willing to do.

What are you scared of?

What are you willing to try?

  1. Honestly my biggest fear right now is that I’m not going to find a career path within the financial services industry that feels sustainable for the long term. I have put so much time, money, and work into getting my MBA and CFA, I feel like I need to keep looking for an area that is the right fit but I worry I won’t ever find a job that feels secure and stable or a role where I feel comfortable/not in over my head… :/

    Enjoy Mexico!!!!

  2. Love this quote. I’ve read other wuotes that share this sentiment in the past & it’s so true. I know I’m heading in the right direction when I’m scared…getting out of your comfort zone is when change really happens. And I agree with you–TRYING is much easier to accept than LEAPING–but those small steps sometimes lead to leaps. πŸ™‚
