Wait, Wander, Winter

While I didn’t get to a yoga class this week (and yes, my new years resolution is to do 2 a week….) I have been doing pretty good on getting my daily steps! Yesterday I was at home with nothing to do, and no one to talk to, so I took off for a little walk on the lake.

Wait Wander Winter

With the warm weather this weekend and the warmer weather all winter I didn’t feel comfortable walking alone, so I turned around and set out to walk on the road. And then I realized the woods were a perfectly suitable option. While technically the land must below to someone, I figured it was either relatives I knew, or neighbors I knew, and I wasn’t really hurting anything.

So I wandered and took pictures. I considered going out and visiting my favorite restaurant, but ended up eating at home and going to bed early. I’m finally familiar with all the noises associated with St. Paul living, so being in a quiet house was a strange change.

This wasn’t the weekend I had planned, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good weekend.

  1. This was definitely a great weekend to go for a walk. I looooved the mild weather we had. I walked to get groceries on Saturday and walked to church on Sunday and it felt great to get some fresh air and to not have to be so bundled up!
