February 2015 Recap

Well, this month I barely posted. I had my “wait” posts on Sundays, but other than that it was pretty much a month of getting through the weather. So…similar to January’s recap, I’m not going to link to previous posts, but rather talk about the highlights.

I started the month with a delicious dinner at 4 Bells with some oyster loving friends.

The highlight for me was the Oyster Shot, which I will definitely be returning for! The ceviche was also memorable as it wasn’t served with standard chips or boring saltines, but rather baked in house seasoned crackers.

I also attended a dog’s birthday party one weekend. You can’t tell, but he was thrilled all his friends came to visit.

I visited my family in Florida at the end of the month, and it was so good to see them! The photo above was what I ate for most of my meals there, strawberries, peppers dipped in jalopeno hummus, and spicy italian salami washed down with a diet coke. Dinners were always seafood/fish based. Selfie at Bruce Springsteen

I finished the month at a Bruce Springsteen concert! I hoped to have a great leap day, and while a 5 am wake up to catch at 7 am plane isn’t the best, Bruce was worth it, he played for almost 3 straight hours!

What was the longest concert you’ve ever been to?

Did you do anything fun for leap day, or are you looking forward to something in March?

  1. This is the 2nd time this week that someone has mentioned a great meal at 4 Belles. I will have to check that place out some time!

My leap day was busy as I was in Chicago for work and hosted a happy hour for some of the sales people so I could get to know them better.
